Description:Job Summary:
The Office Manager is primarily responsible for the day to day management of all office operations. Responsibilities include supervision of department staff and collaborating with the StatClinix Leadership team with regard to staff development and training. The incumbent is responsible for monitoring and preparedness related to regulations such as AZ DHS, OSHA, etc.
The incumbent implements recommended changes based on the use of quality and customer satisfaction activities. The incumbent identifies staff development needs and communicates them to the StatClinix Leadership, and communicates the philosophy, mission and values to all team members.
Duties:Essential Functions:

1. Assumes responsibility for the utilization of human and material resources to meet budgetary targets. This includes assuring schedules and staffing meet the needs of the department..
2. Provides direction, mentoring, leadership and coaching for the staff of the clinic. Participates in the hiring and evaluation process. Contributes to employee satisfaction and employee retention by creating a collaborative and healing environment for staff with a focus on keeping staff informed, involved and part of an innovative team.
3. Maintains continual regulatory readiness for the facility according to AZ DHS, CLIA, OSHA and AZ Radiation Regulatory Agency standards.
4. Provides statistical data and participates in Quality Improvement activities as requested by StatClinix Leadership
5. Is responsible for the clinic operation 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. Is responsible for the physical facility plant.
6. Assures a high level of internal and external customer satisfaction as demonstrated by patient satisfaction survey, employee relations index and turnover survey results. Meets established targets.

Physical/Mental Demands:

Must speak, read and write English; see and hear; assess, plan, and evaluate; deal with stress effectively. Work in a fast paced clinical environment and also an office setting. Must possess the ability to remain on feet for extended periods of time: bend, reach, stoop and lift heavy objects; assist patients to and from bed/wheelchair/gurney; speak, read and write English, see and hear, assess, plan, implement and evaluate; effectively deal with stress. Work in a fast paced clinical environment, which include exposure to blood and body fluids, airborne pathogens, hazardous materials and mechanical equipment.

Equipment Used:

� medical/diagnostic/therapeutic equipment,
� calculators and office equipment,
� telephone, pager

Additional Functions:

1. Collaborates with the Urgent Care Medical Director, providers, other team members, physician offices, insurance companies, hospitals and outpatient facilities and agencies to facilitate patient care.
2. Participates on committees, such as policy, procedure, documentation, research, quality assessment and improvement, etc.
3. Works and collaborates with other StatClinix Sites as needed.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

The Urgent Care is comprised of a variety of care providers, which include:
1. Registered Nurses
2. Licensed Practical Nurses
3. Medical Assistants/EMT/Paramedics
4. Medical Radiographers
5. Patient Account Representatives
Qualifications:Minimum Qualifications:

This is a leadership position which requires one-year experience in a supervisory position, and at least 1 year of experience in the Urgent Care, or Emergency Department setting. The ability to build and maintain effective verbal and non-verbal communication and working relationships with staff, patients and their families, and physicians is required.
